Curious about how the Dimensity 7300 stacks up against the Dimensity 7200 Pro in the Nothing Phone (2a)? The Dimensity 7200 Pro boasts 2 Cortex-A715 performance cores running at 2.8 GHz and 6 Cortex-A510 efficiency cores operating at 2 GHz.
In contrast, the Dimensity 7300 introduces a pair of extra performance cores (Cortex-A78), though they operate at a slightly reduced clock speed of 2.5 GHz compared to the 2.8 GHz performance cores (Cortex-A715) of the 7200.
It may be premature to discuss the performance improvements of the 7300 compared to the 7200, as it still utilizes the older Cortex-A78 and A58 cores. However, early reports suggest a modest 5% increase on paper.
In terms of GPU performance, the 7300, equipped with the Mali-G615 MP6, outshines the 7200’s Mali-G610 MP4. Boasting more execution units and a more recent design, it offers superior capabilities.
In a recent Twitter thread, Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing, unveiled several key features of the CMF Phone 1. The device will boast 8GB of RAM, and will support Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, as well as dual 5G connectivity.
Additionally, information from leaks and official Tweets reveals that the CMF Phone 1 will feature a Lanyard Dial and a back cover secured with a screw mechanism, allowing for easy replacement. CMF will also include a distinctive tool in the box that functions both as a screwdriver and a SIM ejector.
On July 8, CMF is set to unveil the CMF Phone 1, along with the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2, expanding their innovative lineup.
